BN takes back Perak? Anwar embarrassed...

The Barisan Nasional now has majority seats in the Perak State Assembly after two Parti keADILan Rakyat Assemblymen Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi (PKR-Behrang), Osman Jailu (PKR-Changkat Jering) and a Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly Hee Yit Foong (DAP-Jelapang)decided to leave their parties and be BN-friendly. The State Assmblyman for Bota Datuk Nasarudin Hashim is returning to BN.

It is only a matter of time that the DYMM Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Shah will announce his decision on whether he should take the advice of the Menteri Besar and dissolve the State Assembly or give his consent to the Barisan Nasional to form the Government.

If the DYMM Sultan decides that the BN should form the Government, which is highly likely by virtue of BN being the majority, it will be a big embarassment for Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar had been telling the world that Pakatan Rakyat would form the Government on September 16 last year because by then he would get many BN parliamentarians to cross over to PR. September 16 happened only in Anwar's dreams.

While he is going around telling the world that BN MPs are going to cross over to his party, the Opposite is happening right under his nose. Anwar is now in no position to say that party-hopping is unethical.

What's real is that BN is about to wrest Perak and the people in Perak especially and in Malaysia generally are losing faith in PR. That will be the biggest slap in the face for Anwar.

dear brother Asraf,
we vote BN out because we want change, because we want a clean party, and we want a party that can accommodate multi racial....and we know PR is the best candidate. And we are right, throughout the 10 months, we feel the work that has been done in Perak for the citizen, far greater than previous government by BN...even though now, the government has fallen to BN's hand again because of Najid...there's nothing much we can say, unless by election...how sad can it be to see the government we elected fallen into hand of corrupted people, with 2 corrupted persons jumping ship...

yes people wanted change and that was precisely what they got - from perdanas to camrys.

seriously, the pr boys in selangor, perak and penang are just to busy trying to find fault with the previous administration that they forgot to govern.
frankly aku respect kedah, at least that mb is doing something although he may be too quiet or is being overshadowed by the rest.

lain kali buatlah kerja yang telah diamanahkan bukannya syiok sendiri.
padan muka i say.

as far as jumping ship is concerned:
1. why is it ok for anwar to brag about bn people jumping but now he wants to rally against his own people jumping to bn. kononnya kembalikan kuasa pada rakyat with his 100,000 supporters gathering. what crap.

2. there should be anti hopping laws. we the rakyat put these mothers there in places of power so they can be millionaires as and when the grass is greener on the other side is it?

steady bn. good job. but please please, don't become arrogant. i hope bn has learnt its lesson well.
and dont make the mistake of letting those 2 buggers who are under investigations go scot-free.

Dear Ashraf
Lompat is bad but that's what kataks do. You have shown your prejudice by jumping with joy now that your hero Najib has usurped the Government through a coup.
Don't be proud, dear Ashraf.
When do two wrongs make a right?
You should be ashamed of yourself.

I really agree with you that Anwar should be embarrassed as he's lost at his own game. I think the MB also should resign and dont ever get involved in politic again. It's Ok for them to Fish the BN candidate in but it's wrong for the PR candidate to jump into BN's side.I think what DPM Najib has done is good deed for the people of PERAK and confidence to the stability in politic.PERAK's MB should understand where he stood and not to go against the Sultan Of Perak. If he is willing to go against the ruler of perak,How's the people could TRUST him with the Perak state.Dont simply just follow the leader who is only intention is to become the PM and not even qualified at all.

Bro Ashraf,

Lets us establish the fact first and for all..

Who defected? NONE...

Two PKR Aduns DID NOT defected, they DID NOT join BN or Umno for that matter for they crossed the floor to become independent ADUNs.

The DAP Adun for Jelapang did the same and she DID NOT defect to BN via MCA...

Nasaruddin Bota returned to Umno and into the fold of Barisan Nasional.

So BN DID NOT cilok anybody...unlike some bloke who wants to cilok 30 BN MPs...sometime ago until it became a pipe dream...

With these crossovers, the DAP-PKR-PAs Unity Government (NOT Pakatan Rakyat as they claimed to be in the same mould of BN because they DID NOT register themselves as such and DID NOT contest the GE12 on Pakatan Rakyat ticket) lost the simple majority in the state assembly.

So it was a unity government, not a coalition government as a coalition is like BN which registered itself as a coalition and contested the GE as such. Pakatan is a loose collection of parties calling themselves Pakatan Rakyat.

By numbers alone, Umno has the biggest number of representatives with 27, followed by DAP 18, PKR 7, PAS 6 and MCA 1.

Now Umno still has 27, DAP has 17, PKR has 5, MCA with 1 and 2 3 independent ADUNs...

(1) They do not have the numbers anymore...
(2) They do not enjoy the trust of HRH Sultan Azlan Shah to hold office anymore...

A Mentri Besar holds the office at the pleasure of HRH The Sultan and the day he lost the privilege, he should tender his resignation. In this case Nizar was told by HRH Sultan Azlan to resign, meaning he has lost the confidence of the Ruler.

Reported today (Feb 7, 2009) that Nizar held state exco meeting and made 4 decisions...

This is funny and memalukan, an act of Gila Talak...how could one hold a state exco meeting since it has to be attended by certian ex-officios like the state secretary, the state legal adviser and the state financial officer and as the attendance of the state mufti (who has no power to vote but classified as Yang Turut Hadir)

To hold a state exco meeting one must obtain the approval of HRH The Sultan, by informing the ruler prior to the meeting and in this case there was NONE because this is an illegal meeting...meeting of pack of wolves and a canine, the canine being a pathetic slave of the wolves...

So, lagi apa mau? Angkat kaki lah...

Salam from Mergong

Saudara,
